Day 13

Again. I've be left alone. I noticed in town when he didn't appear, but I thought perhaps he was just ill. When I went by his room, it was... eye-opening. He's gone and I can only assume he's returned home or they took him or he left on his own. Either way, he's gone. Again.
I stabbed Sanosuke-san in the lung with a pen and shoved my sword through Himura-san's shoulder. I suppose that was a poor choice on my part. Homura-san, if he ever remembers me, will be upset.
Mm...
The cough is getting worse. I suppose I should request tea at brunch.
It won't be the same ever again. Hijikata-san, please don't ever come back. I won't be able to survive seeing you leave me a third time. Perhaps if I'd told you-- no, that wouldn't have done anything. A warrior should not be so easily swayed and yet, here I am.
